Priti Rai Makes Debut For Jordanian Club Ittihad FC In AFC Women’s Champions League

Nepali midfielder Priti Rai, who recently joined Jordanian club Ittihad FC, made her debut for the team on Monday.

Her debut, however, did not end on a happy note as Ittihad suffered a defeat in the AFC Women’s Champions League Qualifiers Group C match.

Starting in the first eleven, Priti played an active role but Ittihad went down 2-0 against Singapore’s Lion City Sailors FC. The Nepali international was later substituted towards the end of the match.

Both goals for Lion City were scored by Emi Takuchi.

In their second group stage match, Priti’s side Ittihad will face Asiagol Bishkek FC of Kyrgyzstan, while Lion City will take on Malaysia’s Kelana United.
